How might we enable Enhanced Card Management Features to our debit and credit users?
You left your physical card at the restaurant and want to lock it so it's safe, but you also want to stop on your way home and get some groceries with the same account using your digital wallet.
You have recurring payments but need an easy way to quickly review those transactions while having the ability to block any since one immediately.
Or you want to update your card info on file, but have no idea who has your current card information or how to even update any of that.
Use Case and Wireframe creation
To clearly understand the need and how these next-generation features may function/behave, we broke up the project into 3 use cases- Onboarding, Manage, and View.
High-Fidelity
Moments such as lock card, now provide some pre-set options, taking out the guess work and stress knowing a card is at risk, while letting a user use other features of the card immediately.
Outcome
These enhanced card features overwhelmingly tested positive, and are pushed in the next release of the Bank of America Mobile App - continuing to rank in the very top of Finance Apps for iOS and Android.
